Whale Watching in Scotland
The main areas in Scotland where you can go for whale watching opportunities tend to be the Scottish isles.
Whale and dolphin watching trips operate from the Isle of Skye and the Isle of Mull. It is also possible to go whale watching from Shetland and Orkney.
Whale and dolphin watching is usually done in season with most trips running from April to October.
If it’s dolphins in particular that you are after, the Moray firth with its local population of dolphins is known as a good place to go dolphin spotting.
